I am so excited that the new Pony80 channel is now live and has content!
This is the first of several channels that I am creating to share learning content with my followers.
This channel is dedicated to the building an 8-bit Z80 computer from scratch.
I will be covering the fundamentals of electronic components, architecture of the Z80 CPU and peripherals, breadboarding, printed circuit board design, and learning new things myself as I stretch the limits of my knowledge thru experimentation.
I have no formal electronics training, but I love to learn and love to experiment! Armed with my curiosity, I am building a computer that was popular while I was a kid. But this isn't just nostalgia, this is a deep dive into electronics, computer design, and software development.
